Author Guidelines

Articles, translations, and book reviews may be submitted. Articles and translations should not exceed 15–20 pages (approximately 8000 words), while book reviews should not exceed 3–5 pages (approximately 1500–2000 words). All contributions should be organized according to the standards applied in indexed journals in Europe and elsewhere.

Articles may be submitted in Bosnian, Croatian, Serbian, or any other European language (e.g., English, French, German, Spanish, or Italian). The editorial board reserves the right to select which submissions in foreign languages will be considered for publication.

Articles should be written following the IMRAD (Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion) structure of a scientific article. All articles must include an abstract and keywords. The abstract is a concise summary of the article (approximately 10 lines) and should briefly describe the goal, methods, and results of the study. Both the abstract and keywords should be provided in the author’s native language and in English.

Articles should contain the following elements:

  • title,

  • author(s) and institution(s) information,

  • abstract in the author’s native language and in English,

  • keywords in the author’s native language and in English,

  • introduction (overview of previous work / hypotheses in the same thematic area, materials and methods, presentation of evidence, hypotheses of the entire study, objectives, expected results),

  • main text divided into chapters,

  • conclusion,

  • references (sources, citations, bibliography).

References must also include the title in English. Content and bibliographical notes should be clearly distinguished in the text. Content notes explain and clarify the text in greater detail and are placed at the bottom of the page. Bibliographical notes refer to citations – i.e., to the precise section of text taken from another publication. They are inserted in the text and include the author’s name, the year of publication, and the page where the cited section can be found (e.g., Frege, 1964, 88). Complete information about the source or specific bibliographic reference should be provided in the list of references.

Mogu se dostavljati članci, prevodi i prikazi knjiga. Članci i prevodi ne smiju prelaziti 15–20 stranica (oko 8000 riječi), dok prikazi knjiga ne smiju prelaziti 3–5 stranica (oko 1500–2000 riječi). Svi doprinosi trebaju biti organizirani u skladu sa standardima koji se primjenjuju u indeksiranim časopisima u Evropi i drugdje.

Članci se mogu objavljivati na bosanskom, hrvatskom, srpskom ili nekom od europskih jezika (npr. engleskom, francuskom, njemačkom, španskom ili italijanskom). Uredništvo zadržava pravo odabira radova dostavljenih na stranim jezicima.

Članci treba da budu napisani u skladu sa IMRAD (Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results and Discussion) strukturom naučnog članka. Svi članci moraju sadržavati sažetak (abstract) i ključne riječi. Sažetak predstavlja kratak pregled članka (oko 10 linija) i sadrži opis cilja, metoda i rezultata rada. Sažetak i ključne riječi se pišu na maternjem i engleskom jeziku.

Članci treba da sadrže sljedeće elemente:

  • naslov,

  • podatke o autoru i instituciji,

  • sažetak na maternjem i engleskom jeziku,

  • ključne riječi na maternjem i engleskom jeziku,

  • uvod (pregled prethodnih radova / hipoteza u istoj tematskoj oblasti, materijali i metode, prezentacija dokaza, hipoteza cijelog rada, ciljevi, očekivani rezultati),

  • tekst podijeljen u poglavlja,

  • zaključak,

  • literaturu (izvori, reference, bibliografija).

Reference moraju imati naslov i na engleskom jeziku. Sadržajne i bibliografske bilješke trebaju biti jasno razlikovane u tekstu. Sadržajne bilješke objašnjavaju i pojašnjavaju tekst detaljnije i pišu se ispod linije na dnu stranice. Bibliografske bilješke se odnose na citate – tj. na precizni dio teksta preuzet iz druge publikacije. One se navode u tekst i sadrže ime autora, godinu objave citiranog rada i stranicu na kojoj se nalazi citirani dio (npr. Frege, 1964, 88). Kompletni podaci o izvoru ili konkretnoj bibliografskoj referenci se navode u listi literature.
